Louis Vuitton green trunk c.1912

Superb Louis Vuitton shoe trunk from 1912, covered with a green coated canvas and protected by lozine borders. This trunk has a brass jewel stamped Louis Vuitton, with two leather handles and wooden reinforcements.

The interior is covered with a beige linen canvas, with a fleece part and a felt part to receive the shoes. There were originally three interior frames to store boots and shoes.

There are two Louis Vuitton labels inside the luggage: The first one was glued at the time of the sale of the trunk in 1912, the second one was added after a maintenance of the luggage at Louis Vuitton a few years after its manufacture. The authenticity number is written next to the right label.

Very good condition: The trunk is in superb condition for its age, with some marks on the outer canvas. There is a restoration of the interior felt.
