Louis Vuitton steamer trunk c.1910

Superb Louis Vuitton steamer trunk from the 1910s, covered with a canvas coated monogram stencils and protected by metal edges. This trunk is equipped with brass jewelry, with metal handles and wooden reinforcing slats.

The interior is covered with a linen canvas and restored red felt (originally used to store shoes). Also of note is a ribbon star attached with nails, used in 1900 to store photos and letters. A photo of the original customer is still present inside the trunk.

Very good condition : This beautiful travel trunk is in very nice condition for its age, with some fine stains inside the luggage and a slight patina of the outer canvas.
