Goyard trunk chest c.1920

Very nice Goyard automobile trunk from the 1910s, covered with a black waterproof coated canvas. We notice a brass jewelery, with the side buckles and the handles of transport engraved GOYARD Paris. The back of the trunk is adapted to the shape of the car of the time. This car luggage was originally attached to the back of the vehicle and allowed travelers to store their suitcases inside this large trunk.

It is very rare to find these trunks with the original interior suitcases, that is why we arrange this luggage in a real small "chest of drawers", today very functional and unusual. These drawers are made of wood, with leather handles, allowing you to handle them very simply. We have not modified anything of the original part of the trunk, with the straps and the period Goyard canvas.

Very good condition : The trunk is in very good condition for its age, with a few marks on the outer canvas. Very practical inside in a bedroom or a living room for example.
