Moynat trunk c.1910

Very nice Moynat steamer trunk, covered with a brown coated canvas and dated April 27, 1910. This large trunk is equipped with leather handles and borders, with brass jewelry and wooden reinforcements. There are a large number of hotel labels glued on the whole trunk, testimony of his numerous trips to France and Germany.

The interior is covered with a beige linen cloth, with ribbons to hold the customer's photos and the Moynat manufacturer's label. This label indicates the address of the original store of the brand at 5 place du théâtre français, as well as the date of marketing of the trunk in April 1910.

Very good condition : The trunk is in nice condition for its time, with some markings on the outside and inside canvas.

Moynat was in 1900 the third largest manufacturer of trunks and travel goods in France and Europe, with a reputation equivalent to Goyard. This brand is now owned by LVMH.
