Moynat cabin trunk c.1910

Superb 1910 Moynat cabin trunk, covered with a brown coated canvas and protected by leather borders. There are leather handles on both sides and on the front, with the original owner's initials G.V. 

The Moynat authenticity plate and shipping labels are fixed on the top and on the side of the trunk. The clasps are stamped MOYNAT PARIS.

The interior is clean, covered with a linen cloth and equipped with a red patch pocket stamped MOYNAT. Note the Moynat manufacturer's label with the date of manufacture and the address of the store at the time.

These trunks were stored under the bunk in an ocean liner cabin. The handle on the front allowed to remove the trunk under the bed.

Good condition : The trunk is in good condition, with a nice patina of the canvas and leather exterior.
