Moynat cabin trunk c.1912

Superb Moynat cabin trunk, sold on February 20, 1912, covered with a brown coated canvas and protected by leather edges. There are leather handles on both sides and on the front, with the initials of the original owner E.W. 

The Moynat authenticity plate and a label of the liner "Ile de France" is attached to the side of the trunk. The clasps are stamped MOYNAT PARIS. 

The interior is very clean, covered with a linen canvas and equipped with a red patch pocket stamped MOYNAT. We also notice the label of the manufacturer Moynat with the date of manufacture and the address of the store at the time. The trunk is complete with its original frame. 

These trunks were stored under the berth in a liner cabin. The handle on the front allowed to remove the trunk under the bed.

Very good condition : The trunk is in very good condition, with a nice patina of the canvas and leather exterior.
