Louis Vuitton Courrier trunk

Superb 1910s Louis Vuitton Courier travel trunk, covered with the iconic LV monogrammed coated canvas and protected by lozine borders. There are three Louis Vuitton stamped clasps, with a lock number and store address of the time engraved on the brass.

The two leather handles have been restored. There are four wheels under the trunk.

The interior is protected by linen, with a padded part. The Louis Vuitton manufacturer's label is glued to the inside of the trunk, along with the label of the dealer at the time located in BOSTON. This trunk was sold in an American department store in the 1910's and came back to France around 1950.

Good condition : Very nice item, full of history. There are stigmata of many trips on the whole luggage, overall in good condition. Slight patina of the outside canvas. Interior has a patina with the original caption.
