Louis Vuitton orange hat trunk

Rare Louis Vuitton hat trunk from 1908, covered with an orange vuittonite coated canvas, emblematic of the brand. The three brass clasps are signed Louis Vuitton, as well as the lathing under the trunk and the various brass studs.

The letters F.A.C. (slightly faded) are under the handle of the luggage. Four leather corners protect the trunk. The leather hinge is restored. The interior is covered with a beige linen, with two monogrammed straps stretched in the bonnet, and a removable ribbon cage in the tank.

These different compartments originally allowed women to carry the hats and caps of the time in complete safety.
